Skids are heavy-duty, structurally integrated beams that serve four primary purposes:
Mobility: engineered to allow Tiny Houses to be pushed/pulled across ground or, onto a tilt-tray truck
Cost-Effectiveness: having a trailer is optional
Structural Integrity & Stability: designed to distribute weight evenly, preventing structural stress overtime
Foundation Flexibility: provide a strong, level base for multiple installation options:

o On posts
o Onto concrete or gravel footings or pads

Framework is precision-engineered and pre-built in panel sections in a factory.
Sections are flat-packed onto a trailer or truck for pick-up or delivery, where you can then quickly assemble them.

A traditional Japanese technique of charring the surface of wood to enhance durability and water, fire, UV rays & pest resistance.
This comes standard with our Flooring System.
It is cost effective by eliminating the need for a floor covering to be applied, unlike other tiny house manufacturers who use (cheap) particleboard - less durable and requiring a covering.

Our Flooring System is made up of a breather membrane, R2.5 underfloor insulation batts, Yakisugi finished plywood sheets plus waterproof insulated tile backing board laid upon moisture-resilient treated plywood for bathrooms.

This makes the tiny house fully weatherproof, highly insulated and ready for fit-out.
